The Paper Players Love Note

Hi everyone!

Joanne is the hostess this week at The Paper Players and here's her challenge:

Love Notes! What a fun idea!

I thought I'd go musical notes.
So I set off right away to dig through my stash to find what I had that may work.

First I found the paper, and then the music dies and heart from Cheery Lynn.

The sentiment on the card is from Penny Black,

and the sentiment inside the card is from Taylored Expressions.

I love making Valentines!

Life is a Kitchen

Hi everyone!

I decided to play along with the Double D Challenge," Kitchen is the Heart of the Home." I love to bake, (Cookin' Up North) and I have a collection of kitchen stamps and dies, so this challenge is right up my alley! One of my faves is from Taylored Expressions," Life is a Kitchen"set.

I stamped the sentiment on a Lil Inker stitched tag, then added part of the In the Kitchen border at the bottom. I LOVE that border...it's so cute with all the kitchen items on it!

Then I stamped the whisk and cut it out with the matching die. I tied on a bit of twine, and adhered it all onto a Reverse Confetti rectangle. Then I adhered everything onto a piece of plaid paper.

Here's a list of supplies I used:
Paper: SU,patterned
Ink: SU black
Stamps: Taylored Expressions Life is a Kitchen,
Dies: Taylored Expressions In the Kitchen, Reverse Confetti Stamped Notes, lil inker Anytime Tags
Other: twine

I LOVE the new pop up dies!
This collection is amazing, and I've been having SO much fun with them.

I used the Pop Up Heart and Arrow die to make two treat bag toppers for the hop. Here's a closer look:

I cut it out with the scalloped rectangles for this topper:

Then I adhered the Love sentiment from the Bohemian Word set, and put the Be Mine Teddy Bear sitting on top. He's so adorable, and I love the tiny hearts for the pads of his feet!

I switched up the colors for the second bag:

I also switched up the treats inside..LOL!

Your next stop on the blog hop is back to Cheery Lynn's Blog.

Dies R Us Kids Kards Challenge

Hi everyone!

I can't believe the month is half over, and it's already time for the Dies R Us challenge. It seems like it was just Christmas a few days ago.

I had lots of fun with this challenge...Kards for Kids! I used Disney's Olaf and made a winter scene for a January Birthday card.

Our Challenge Blog

First I splattered some white on a blue rectangle for snow, then I added the Fir Trees from Impression Obsession, and the snowflake from Lawn Fawn. I adhered Olaf in the middle...he's so cute! The sentiment is from Penny Black, stamped in black.

Here's a list of the dies I used:

The Paper Players Color Challenge

The challenge this week at The Paper Players is from Jaydee:

I finally got some in-colors from Stampin' Up....yay!  I had fun using them for this challenge.

I decided to make a Valentine card, and by the time I had cut everything out, I had enough for two cards, so I made a set. I think I used all SU products on this except for the sentiment!
